By providing grants for educational opportunities and inspirational life experiences, we have helped young people build new skills, provided access to new learning opportunities and enhanced education opportunities for all.
Our Overseas, UK & School Grant Programmes
After nearly 15 years of running our Overseas, UK and School Grant Programmes we have distributed more than £7 million, in over 300 individual grants, to more than 200 partners across the UK and overseas. As we move towards our next phase of larger Legacy Funding these open application funding streams will no longer be running.
Our Legacy Grants
Fonthill Foundation continues to be deeply committed to the well-being and development of communities in the UK and Overseas. Through our new Legacy funding we will be supporting a small number of exciting, large-scale projects, where with our help, our partners can go on to drive positive change, uplift young lives and foster lasting impact for many years to come.
Jamie's Farm, Lewes
Congratulations to our first legacy partner. Since 2019 Fonthill has had a very successful partnership with Jamie’s Farm, Lewes, and the Trustees have seen over many years the enormous impact the farm has had on those young people attending. Recently, the opportunity arose for the Foundation to help secure Allington Farm, the Lewes farm site, for the future of Jamie's Farm. The Charity’s ethos of encouraging a family atmosphere, the amazing staff team and their gentle therapy approach, combined with the benefits of outdoor life and a greater proximity to nature is closely aligned with Fonthill’s values and longstanding commitment to outdoor education and passion for the environment. The trustees are thrilled that, by assisting Jamie's Farm to continue its work, the legacy of Fonthill school will live on in this, the first of our Legacy Projects.
