Great to hear today how our project partner, Brighton’s creative writing charity Little Green Pig, have been meeting the Covid-19 challenges by developing a series of digital programmes. Their fantastic workshop leaders and staff have created ‘Virtual Voices’ to support the vulnerable children they work with, and to bring some much-needed creativity and motivation to their lives at this time.

They have started a bi-weekly online club for their regular after-school club children, and set up a mini masterclass series involving number of professional writers and artists including Pete Lawson, Nick Sharratt and Araminta Hall.

In addition to their targeted Virtual Voices activities they have also been running a weekly creativity prompt that can be accessed by anyone.  Online creativity and inspiration prompts are posted online on a Monday https://www.littlegreenpig.org.uk/little-green-pig-goes-online/ and followed up with a You Tube video from one of the workshop leaders on a Wednesday.  Any young person can take part by visiting their You Tube channel – Click here.

Great for all the family to get involved with!
