Our CEO Ceetah Grieves and Trustee Adrian Carver were delighted to visit Brighton based music organisation Audio Active recently. Having previously funded their Equiliser digital music production project for young women through our Community Grants programme, it was great to visit the Bottega Studio space and find out more about the work of this fantastic organisation.

Audio Active is a non-profit organisation creating social change through music as well as developing emerging young musical talent. Since starting in 1999 in Brighton they now have music spaces and programmes delivering free music based sessions across Brighton, Worthing & more recently Crawley.

In 2022 we supported their Equiliser project with a Community Grant. This programme offers free weekly digital music production sessions for young females aged 12-25, providing a safe space to grow young female creativity, develop skills and talents, as well as self-confidence and self-efficacy.
