Supporting Resilience Training for Vulnerable Children

Fonthill recently awarded a Community Grant to Brighton & Hove charity, Safety Net, to enable the delivery of SNAP, their Safety Net Awareness Programme, across three schools in the area.

The programme will support 30 primary school children, identified by their schools in collaboration with the Charity, as likely to benefit from the intervention.  The SNAP programme aims to increase self-awareness, confidence and self-esteem through a 6-8 week programme of resilience training activities.

If young people who are struggling with life and school can receive intervention early enough, it has the potential to impact more strongly and positively on their future engagement with education and learning.  If they can be given the ability and techniques they need to cope better, they are more likely to achieve their potential.

We are delighted to be supporting this programme.  To find out more about Safety Net and the SNAP programme visit
