Once on site, the shipping container used to send the education resources becomes a valuable asset not only to the school but also to the local community. We want to help the receiving school community make the most of this opportunity.
Wasso School, Tanzania, had no library and no books for the hundreds of children desperately wanting to learn to read. The community had no meeting space for mothers and their young children to gather where the children could play together, developing valuable early year's skills.
With our help, the Ngorongro Education Project Tanzania (NEPT) our charity partner in this area and the local community, have transformed the 40ft shipping container into an amazing library packed full of both English and Swahili language books.
